It’s that time again! Sunday Parkways is back, taking over SE Portland this coming Sunday, August 24th.
Here at Portland Pedal Power, we’re always excited when bikes take over the streets of our city. Most recently, we participated in the cycle takeover of Portland’s Willamette River bridges during Bridge Pedal, and we’ll be out for Sunday Parkways this weekend, representing Point West Credit Union and giving out loads of swag! Point West is proud to support Portland’s favorite means of alternative transportation as it recognizes our city’s growing bicycle community, offering bicycle loans with rates as low as 4.49% to help finance your next ride.
Sunday will also be one of your best chances to enter the Point West Pedal Power Photo Contest. Throughout the summer, Point West has been donating a dollar to the Community Cycling Center for each new Facebook like, as well as for photos posted on their Facebook page, up to $1,000. So while you’re enjoying your Parkways ride, be sure to grab a selfie with our the PPP bike and post it Point West’s Facebook page, and you could win a $250 Visa gift card!
