Waiter.com Acquires Portland Pedal Power

Silicon Valley based Waiter.com has acquired Portland’s bicycle based corporate food delivery company Portland Pedal Power. Portland Pedal Power will become Portland Pedal Power by Waiter.com and its staff will become Waiter.com employees.

Waiter.com pioneered the concept of online restaurant ordering back in 1995 in Silicon Valley. Today Waiter.com delivers food from over 1300 businesses in markets across the country.

“I’m incredibly excited about this next step for Portland Pedal Power. This partnership will allow PPP to expand on the high quality sustainable catering services we provide to Portland companies by leveraging Waiter.com’s resources and history in the industry,” says Portland Pedal Power co-owner and CEO Stacy Blumberg.

Waiter.com CEO Craig Cohen says “We are thrilled to be entering the Portland market with an established business that aligns with the values that have made Waiter.com successful in other markets across the country for the past 25 years.”

Both companies deliver primarily to business customers and focus on exceptional customer service.
