The Wellspring School has been offering programs and classes in Amma Bodywork Therapy, Wholistic Nutrition, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Movement Arts since 1995. The school was originally founded in Boise, Idaho, in 1995 and just last year started offering classes in Portland at various community locations.
Thrilled at the very positive response of the Portland community, The Wellspring School plans to make their Portland presence permanent. They are pleased to announce the opening of their dedicated Portland office and classroom space! This will be centrally located in SE Portland at 214 SE 18th Street (Suite 201) at the corner of SE Ash Street. The new space has two classrooms, a large office for staff, a reference library, a kitchenette, plenty of parking and a private treatment room for one of its directors, Rylen Feeney, and her therapy practice.
Amidst all of the moving in during the month of April, the school is launching its spring class series. Check out their website for information on all of the classes and more at http://thewellspring.org/classes/. In June, the Amma student clinic will start up at one of the school’s community partner locations. The school also plans to launch its Wholistic Nutrition Program this September.
