The 2011 Winter Issue of Bicycle Paper is now on the shelves. Our riders delivered 860 copies to 40 of the hottest bike shops and bike friendly businesses last week so you can find your copy.

Here’s a synopsis of this issue from our friends at the Bicycle Paper:

This time around we have a feature on the Capitol Forest 50/100 mountain bike race held back in August, a health column about the benefits of winter spin classes by longtime Northwest professional cyclist, Kristi Berg, as well as the latest updates on the region’s ever-expanding  infrastructure for cyclists, penned by Katie Hawkins, former Bicycle Paper intern.
.
Many companies used to wait for Interbike — one of the bicycle industry’s largest trade shows — to unveil their new products. These days, that’s not always the case, but the event is still a great place to see what various manufacturers and exhibitors have come up with for the next season. Manufacturers send us products year-round to test and review, and while we usually run one or two per issue, we pack a lot more of them in the winter issue, as these can all make for great gift ideas for the bike aficionado.
