Who you are 10 words or less?
Art student, photographer, foodie, cyclist. I like to mess with jazz guitar, animation, and videography when time allows.
Why are you a part of PPP?
I’m interested in smart, sustainable business and, of course, bicycles. Portland Pedal Power was a perfect fit.
What was your first bike?
My first bike was a Wal-Mart brand black and red mountain bike, unless my tricycle counts (it does). I rode that bike until about a year ago when I got my first “real” bike: a Masi with a Shimano gruppo. It’s your standard racey bike; I dress it up with sparkly handlebar tape and silly fenders when I’m feeling sassy.
Who is your favorite super hero?
Spiderman: he brings out the nerd in me.
Where do you see PPP in five years?
It’s hard to say because I’ve only been with Portland Pedal Power a short time, but I’d love to see a PPP operation in another city. It would be great to see other cities taking cues from what we’re doing here in Portland.
What is the coolest thing you’ve ever done?
Riding a motorcycle through southern Sweden has to be near the top. Kite boarding is next on my list.
