There are a lot of events coming up this weekend the most notable of which is the Portland Pride festival. PPP participates every year and there will be several of us riding in the parade this year on the big bikes. As always, we are super excited to be part of it with our partners GayPDX, Portland’s Gay Directory.
After the horrific tragedy of the attack in Orlando, it is more important than ever for LGBTQ community and allies to get out and be together showing support, love, and pride for the community. We hope you all will join us.
You can view many pride related events on the Pride Northwest site, but here are some key events coming up: Pre-Pride Vigil for the victims in Orlando at the Q Center tomorrow night (Thursday, June 16), Trans March (Friday, June 17), Portland Dyke March (Friday, June 17), Saturday festival mainstage performances, Sunday Pride Parade 11am-1pm.
