In community, Portland

This is a one day “women’s only” 3×3 basketball tournament that benefits the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) – the largest LGBT political and civil rights organization in the United States with over a million members and supporters. The event aims to increase awareness of the need for LGBT basic rights and equality, promote women in sports, and bring community together.

This is a unique tournament because it’s all inclusive – women of all ages and skill level participate, from 18 to 60. Last year the tournament competed with over 25 teams, which is pretty amazing in the world of women’s 3×3 basketball tournaments! There are four brackets for all different ages and skill levels. Even if you haven’t played in years, there’s a bracket for you.

Nike is a big supporter of the tournament and has been the presenting sponsor since the very first year – donating amazing swag and prizes for all 1st and 2nd place bracket winners. There’s also a “Spirit Award” for the team with the most creative name, uniform, and overall enthusiasm and a 3 point contest during the lunch period.

This year for an extra special treat, the Last Regiment of Syncopated Drummers will be performing during lunch hour. It’s an action packed day of great basketball in support of building equality in the LGBT community. So get your team registered today, brackets are filling up!
